NOS adjusts tanker margin curves - 30 Nov.

As of Thursday 30th November, NOS (the Norwegian Futures and Options Clearinghouse) is reducing daily margin requirements for some of the tanker derivatives contracts which are available for clearing at NOS.
The following tanker contracts are affected by the margin adjustments:
- TC2
- TC4
- TC5
- TC6
- TD3
- TD5
- TD7
- TD9
The margin curves are shown in the document attached below:
The margin adjustments are also applied to TD3/TC2 freight options, as all option contracts use
the margin curve of the relevant underlying futures.
The changes will come into effect from end of business Thursday 30th November 2006 for margins to be posted by 15.00 CET Friday December 1st.
