IMAREX grows fuel oil team in Oslo

On the 28th of September, Mr Patrick Gourlay will join the IMAREX fuel oil team in Oslo. Mr Gourlay comes to IMAREX from Platts, an information company, where he worked as Editor for the European Oil Markets for the last four years.
In his role as Editor, Gourlay used the Platts MOC (market-on-close) process, to assess the price of low and high sulphur fuel oil prices which trade as barges in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Antwerp and cargoes in North West Europe and the Mediterranean.
"We are of course very happy that Patrick has chosen to join us at this exciting time in IMAREX development. His experience in reporting on the oil markets and his contacts there will be valuable to us as we expand now," says Gunnar Lindqvist, Head of Bunker Fuel Oil broking at IMAREX.
Gourlay holds a Bsc Hons. in politics and philosophy from Bristol University, UK.
