IMAREX ACADEMY dates for 2008

Dates have now been set for the IMAREX ACADEMY professional freight derivatives trading courses for 2008.
IMAREX ACADEMY has since June 2007 trained over 160 traders and risk management professionals in FFAs and Freight Options. The ACADEMY is run by IMAREX in cooperation with REUTERS in locations around the world. Separate courses are run for Dry Bulk and Tanker derivatives.
These professional training courses are aimed at traders and risk managers looking for a deeper understanding of the Dry Bulk and tanker freight derivatives market and its impact and opportunities for trading operations.
The courses cover the role of Freight Forward Agreements (FFAs) market and its significance to different participants in the market. The course will teach delegates the different ways in which FFAs can be used by ship-owners, charterers traders and investors, with case studies and exercises built in.
