Tanker derivatives:
The total number of tanker derivatives trades was 390. The number of lots traded was 9,245 (9,24 million tonnes). The average number of lots per trade was 24. The nominal trade value of tanker transactions US$ 130.8,5 million with the average transaction size just over US$335,000.
Drybulk derivatives:
The total number of drybulk derivatives transactions was 32. A total of 5,414 lots were traded (1 lot = 1000 metric tonnes or 1 day. The average number of lots was 169. The nominal trade value of drybulk derivatives transactions was US$97.3 million with the average transaction size just over US$3 million.
