New Director at Imarex in Oslo
[First published: Wednesday 02 March 2005 4:45:24 pm]Imarex is pleased to announce the appointment to its management team in Oslo, Mr Morten Erik Pettersen.
Morten will be responsible for structured products and business development of the Imarex / NOS clearing model for the freight derivatives market.
Educated at the Norwegian Institute of Technology (NTNU) Morten holds a Master of Science in Industrial Economics.
Pettersen previously worked as Head of Trading for Enron Nordic Energy and Enron Japan Corp, and held the same position in AEP Energy Services Norway.
He was previously Partner and Senior Investment Manager with Interkraft Capital Management ASA, and comes to Imarex from his recent position as Senior Sales Manager Commodities at Nordea Markets.
"We're investing heavily in this market," says Herman Michelet, founder and Executive Director of Imarex, adding: "First we invested in NOS to help build new products and develop clearing service, and now we're beefing up our team here at Imarex - hiring Morten is part of that strategy."
