IMAREX hires Tor H. Augdal as Director of Operations

IMAREX is pleased to announce that Mr Tor Heyerdahl Augdal has joined the company as Director of Business Operations based in Oslo, Norway.
Augdal previously served as a board member of IMAREX representing Frontline AS, the company`s largest shareholder and has been a leading proponent of trading in tanker freight derivatives.
"To have a person of Augdal`s calibre on board as a member of our management team, is a pleasure for us," says Tom Even Mortensen, CEO, adding: "Tor has been involved in many aspects of IMAREX before, both as a shareholder`s representative on our board and as a trading customer - he will add a wealth of experience to our operations."
Augdal spent six years as Chartering Manager for Frontline, where he initiated and implemented the trading of Freight Derivatives in the company.
His previous experience includes LPG trading in start-up Amanda AS, projects and spot chartering for Statoil, Norway`s state oil company and ship brokerage with Stemoco Shipping in Oslo.
Augdal holds a degree in Business Administration from the Univeristy of Utah in the USA.
