IMAREX Asia adds two new brokers to tanker team

IMAREX Asia, the Singapore based Asian broking operation of the International Maritime Exchange, is please to announce the appointment of two new tanker derivatives brokers.
Mr Ray Liang, joins IMAREX from the Emirates Shipping Company in Hong Kong. Mr Liang is a Chinese national with a scholarship MSc in Logistics, Trade and Finance from the CASS Business School in London.
Mr Ola Andersen, joins the company from his Master of Applied Finance studies at Macquarie University in Sydney where he graduated in June this year. Mr Andersen has spent the last 8 years skippering ocean going yachts in among others the Sydney to Hobart, and the Cape to Rio races.
"We are building a truly international team to cover the many communication issues involved in building a tanker FFA business in Asia. With Ray and Ola on board we should be able to service our Asian customers more effectively than ever before," says IMAREX tanker desk manager Fredrik Sagen Andersen.
The IMAREX tanker team in Asia now number 5 full time brokers.
