Objectives
Imarex’ objective is to become a leading vertically integrated multi-market liquidity and clearing provider in the global energy, freight and environmental markets.
Strategy
- The IMAREX Group aims to compete globally in the market for maritime freight and energy derivatives by expanding the membership base, product portfolio, distribution channels and geographical presence.
- IMAREX will in particular seek to develop a significant position as a market place and clearing house for related commodity derivatives based on its current strengths and positions.
- The Group intends to develop reach and scale of its operations by combining the efforts of its four main business areas and through separate business development initiatives. Mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and alliances will be pursued where appropriate in this regard.
- IMAREX will seek opportunities in ongoing and expected market consolidation.
